Packers Injury Report: Aaron Rodgers practiced Thursday in positive

Tiger Woods and Aaron Rodgers have something in common: They’re back. After injuring his knee (are we even sure to this moment exactly what the injury is?) against the Chicago Bears Youth Mike Daniels Jersey , Rodgers hasn’t been able to practice regularly during the week as he rehabs. The last two weeks, he only practiced Saturday during the Green Bay Packers’ traditional light session in final preparation for the game. Rodgers practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, but even that is a step in the right direction. Mike McCarthy spoke of the importance of having Rodgers at practice on Wednesday, so perhaps it’s no surprise to see QB1 on the practice field the very next day.Off-target throws, drops, and missed opportunities marred Green Bay’s Week 3 tilt with Washington, but the offense appeared to be close to breaking out. As McCarthy noted this week, it’s hard for an offense to get into a rhythm when its quarterback isn’t practicing. There’s no opportunity for growth. It’s fair to point to that lack of practice reps and wonder if it has affected the cohesion of this offense. McCarthy said it best when he pointed out if they didn’t think practice was important, they wouldn’t practice. So while Rodgers can play, and play well without practice, it’s not as helpful to the team as if he were out there. Getting Rodgers back not only portends well for his injured knee, but potentially for this offense. Having him back in the mix for practice should help this offense get in a groove for a much-needed get right game against the Bills in Week 4.Here’s a look at the Packers’ full injury report on Thursday, which included one new name: Randall Cobb, who was limited with a hamstring issue. Meanwhile, two other players were upgraded from non-participants on Wednesday to limited participants on Thursday.Packers Thursday Injury ReportDid Not ParticipateG Justin McCray (shoulder)OLB Nick Perry (concussion)DL Muhammad Wilkerson (ankle)Limited ParticipationOT Bryan Bulaga (back)WR Randall Cobb (hamstring - was not listed on Wednesday)TE Jimmy Graham (knee - upgraded from DNP on Wednesday)S Josh Jones (ankle)CB Kevin King (groin - upgraded from DNP on Wednesday)QB Aaron Rodgers (ankle - upgraded from DNP on Wednesday)Packers Injury Report, Week 4: Jimmy Graham sits, Bulaga limited on Wednesday The Green Bay Packers will need to get some good news on the injury front this week at practice Color Rush Geronimo Allison Jersey , or else they are going to be in for some trouble this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Six players missed practice for Green Bay on Wednesday, and every one of them is in the starting lineup, along with a pair of key players who were limited. The first surprising name on the did not participate list is tight end Jimmy Graham, who was listed with a knee injury. Graham did not appear to have any limitations in last week’s game in Washington, making this a surprise. However, it could also simply be a maintenance rest day for the veteran, who is in his ninth NFL season.Joining him with new injuries after the loss to Washington are right guard Justin McCray and outside linebacker Nick Perry — both sitting out — and tackle Bryan Bulaga, who was practicing on a limited basis. Muhammad Wilkerson is also listed on the report, but with his season over, his move to injured reserve is merely a formality. The Bills, meanwhile, have a lengthy list of injuries as well, but the only two non-participants were listed as having formal rest days. Five starters were limited in practice, including former Packer Micah Hyde and running back LeSean McCoy, but it appears that all are good bets to suit up on Sunday at Lambeau Field. McCoy in particular should be among the active players, telling reporters after practice that “I’m playing this week.” Here are the full reports from Wednesday.Packers Wednesday Injury ReportDid Not ParticipateTE Jimmy Graham (knee)CB Kevin King (groin)G Justin McCray (shoulder)OLB Nick Perry (concussion)QB Aaron Rodgers (knee)DL Muhammad Wilkerson (ankle)Limited ParticipationOT Bryan Bulaga (back)S Josh Jones (ankle)Bills Wednesday Injury ReportDid Not ParticipateOLB Lorenzo Alexander (rest)DT Kyle Williams (rest)Limited ParticipationTE Charles Clay (shoulder/hip)S Micah Hyde (toe)DE Shaq Lawson (hamstring)RB LeSean McCoy (rib)RB Marcus Murphy (rib)DE Trent Murphy (ankle)
